TORI WARNER SHEPARD LOVES HOUSES!
She has bought and sold property since she was 19 in San Francisco. Having grown up in Tokyo, Manila, Okinawa with her Coca-cola family, she attended colleges in Geneva and San Francisco, getting her M.A. in English Literature to teach in California and in Montevideo, Uruguay. It was fate that brought her here with her children in 1971 where she bought a small adobe on Garcia Street, hired an architect and ended up getting her broker's license in 1979 to help others do the same.
Over 25 years in business, she has assisted in the buying and remodeling of houses, purchasing land and matching architects and builders to the buyer. With David, her golfing husband, she has built several houses from the ground up, and together they have received kudos for developing the sensitive and successful Art Barns section at Old Road Ranch.
She loves Santa Fe for the fascinating, intelligent people and cannot imagine living anywhere else now. Her outside interests are skiing, the Santa Fe Opera, Site Santa Fe, Cornerstones, the Buckaroo Ball and currently learning about the Santa Fe Watershed, as well as continuing to sell houses and finding perfect locations for buyers.
